This week our studios across Australia have been involved in some rewarding events celebrating NAIDOC Week.
Our Perth team started the week by attending SW Accountants & Advisors smoking ceremony, conducted by Walter McGuire from the Wadjuk Bibbulmun people. It was a beautiful welcome to Country and a powerful experience for all involved – truly humbling to be included in this important age-old cultural practice.
Later, our Sydney team enjoyed coming together to learn about and celebrate our First Nations people through an office trivia session.
They also attended the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) Community Day for an event that featured a smoking ceremony, live music, dance workshops, food stalls, games, and more.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to honour and celebrate the rich and unique history of First Nations peoples.
