Firstly, Lake Boort Scarred Trees Masterplan won the Award of Excellence in the Tourism category and a Regional Achievement Award and was celebrated for ‘its sensitive approach to revealing the values of place as a site of cultural and ecological significance.'
Banjo Park, Smiths Lane received a Landscape Architecture Award for play spaces and was acknowledged 'as a leader for its grounding in Traditional Owner engagement and developing an understanding of Country.'
Melbourne Connect also received a Landscape Architecture Award for Urban Design and was commended for 'the visitor experience of the place and how its role as Country can be revealed through sensitively designed movement through the landscape.'
The Shoreline Drive Landscape Plan was awarded a Landscape Architecture Award for Land Management. The project 'successfully balances recreational demand with the protection of cultural and environmental values of this popular camping and visitor area.'
