The Spit is one of the Gold Coast’s most significant community assets and the masterplan delivers a cohesive blueprint for the Spit’s future, built on a foundation of inclusiveness, collaboration and consensus between stakeholders and the community.
We are thrilled to be recognised for our efforts on this master plan that will help unlock the potential for new jobs, new short-term accommodation, a new Aboriginal Cultural Centre and the protection and improvement of approximately 138 hectares of public greenspace.
A big congratulations to our client, the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning, and to Deicke Richards and John Gaskell Planning Consultants who led the master plan consortium which included, Colliers International, Cambray Consulting, E2Designlab, Robert Bird Group and Australian Heritage Specialists.
