Taronga Western Plains Zoo - interpretive elements

Our Signage and Wayfinding team in Adelaide took one such opportunity and ran with it when it teamed up with Troppo Architects to design a series of playful interpretive elements for Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. ASPECT Studios is also involved in designing a new wildlife hospital and discovery garden for the zoo.

Using riotous colour, text, and textural elements that encourage touch, the "poo wheels" feature some juicy vet stories, fun animal facts, and even explore the critical diagnostic properties of animal poo.

The brief for our Signage and Wayfinding team, working with Iguana Creative, was to design a series of fun, interactive interpretive elements that spark curiosity and engagement, and stimulate a passion for animal conservation, supporting the work at the Wildlife Hospital.
