He is a Registered Landscape Architect who trained at Lincoln University in New Zealand. Among his recent award-winning Brisbane works are Oxley and Stirling, Eden Lane and the multi- award-winning Fish Lane Town Square. He also led the master planning of the West Village by Sekisui house including the recently award-winning Mollison Park.
His expertise is wide-ranging, from city-shaping master planning projects to major public realm, residential, educational and sporting projects.
Matthew is guided by the belief that Australian cities become denser, designers can help the Australian public embrace the idea of shared spaces. These spaces can provide quality outdoor environments that relieve the pressure on the current shortfall of urban green space within our cities while encouraging social interaction.
