A key driver of the design was the client’s requirement that the new signage elements should be easily applicable to existing street furniture and infrastructure, minimizing visual clutter and reducing the cost of implementation.
The look and feel of the signage was the product of rigorous and real-world testing with multiple stakeholders. The final design embodies world-best practice in wayfinding, delivering an information system that will be useful well into the future.
