2024 World Architecture Festival

Date: 11月 12, 2024
Category: Awards
Last week, we were triumphant at the World Architecture Festival (WAF), picking up two accolades at the world's foremost celebration of design and architecture.

Our Melbourne Studio Director, Matthew Mackay, presented the City of Melbourne’s Greenline Project alongside Scott Adams of Taylor Cullity Lethlean, with the project winning in the Future Projects – Masterplanning category and the WAFX Prize in the Water category. The festival brought together built environment professionals from around the world in Singapore to explore the evolving dynamics of our world.

The festival featured a series of keynotes, presentations, panel discussions, and interviews, with Matthew taking part in a panel discussing the future of environmental sustainability and the need for continuous innovation to address the unique challenges posed by water.

The Greenline Project Master Plan is one of Melbourne’s most ambitious city-shaping initiatives. It will reconnect the city with the northern bank of the Yarra River – Birrarung – through a four-kilometer riverfront transformation. This visionary project will create a network of inspiring public spaces, establish a vibrant community hub, and transform the way people experience both the city and its river.

Thank you to everyone involved for pulling together such a great event.
