It will be an embodiment of, and platform for, First Nations culture and heritage. Four-kilometres of interconnected promenades, parks and open spaces between Birrarung Marr and the Bolte Bridge, the Greenline Project will truly redefine life in Melbourne.
It’s important that the design is informed by the needs and desires of the people who will use it. Feedback on the draft master plan is now being sought to shape the development of the design.
Lord Mayor Sally Capp is encouraging Melburnians to provide their views on what will be a city-shaping project. She said:
The design team, which brings together two of Australia’s most prominent landscape architecture practices in ASPECT Studios x TCL, also includes WSP, FSC, BKK Architects, JCB Architects, GEHL, Urbis and Capire.
The City of Melbourne is seeking feedback until 13 September via Participate Melbourne.
