Huge turnout for the public opening of CRLand MixC in Changchun

A landmark development for the city, MixC comprises office and residential towers built atop a commercial podium, large public event space and sky gardens.

ASPECT Studios’ Shanghai team have used Changchun’s traditional weaving practices as a conceptual base to “weave” together the city, the site, people and nature, to create a highly connective multi-level landscape. The result is a hub of activity in a lush setting, designed with the specific goal of creating a flexible and curateable urban public space that acts as a destination for large scale community events.
