With the goal of becoming a world-class destination for Indigenous arts and culture, the gallery will be a space that honours stories of our First Nations peoples.
An architectural statement for Mparntwe (Alice Springs), the design reflects the unique geographical landscape of Central Australia. The gallery will be dedicated to protecting, preserving and showcasing Aboriginal First Nations art.
Featuring a full-height atrium and cultural welcoming space at its heart, the gallery will also include a top-floor events venue, a Kwatye (water) play, a cafe and extensive public spaces.
