Designers from around the world are gathering in Singapore this week, as the World Architecture Festival kicks off. We’re delighted that several projects ASPECT Studios has collaborated on are amongst those shortlisted for awards.
The University of Melbourne Student Precinct (Lyons with Koning Architecture, NMBW Architecture Studio, Greenaway + Greenshoot, Architects EAT, Aspect Studios and Glas Urban); and the new academic building Boola Katitjin at Murdoch University (Lyons with Silver Thomas Hanley, Officer Woods, The Fulcrum Agency), are both nominated in the Higher Education & Research category.
Meanwhile, Heritage Lanes 80 Ann Street (Woods Bagot) is nominated in the Office category, while the Allianz Stadium (Cox Architecture) is nominated in the Sport category. Lilydale and Mooroolbark Railway Stations (BKK Architects, Kyriacou Architects, Jacobs) is nominated in the Transport category. Finally, the Victorian Heart Hospital (Conrad Gargett (now Architectus), Wardle) is nominated in the Health category.
Our Global Design Director, Sacha Coles, will be in attendance, and is looking forward to supporting all our collaborators over the coming days.
