Australian Institute of Architects’ 3 Over 4 Under event in Perth

Many of our people come to ASPECT Studios from careers outside landscape architecture – it is always interesting to learn how that transition took place.

Kate Bowler, a Senior Architect from ASPECT Studios in Perth, recently spoke at the Australian Institute of Architects’ inaugural 3 Over 4 Under event, which saw a mix of established and emerging designers speak to the theme of transition.

Kate shared the rationale behind her decision to move to ASPECT after working for eight years in architecture, and explained the challenges involved in making that jump. That varied experience, she said, has allowed her to appreciate the importance of a more holistic design approach – one that ultimately leads to better design and sustainability outcomes.
