The Boot Factory in Bondi reopened this weekend. Waverley Council marked the occasion with activities and architecture tours led by Tomek Archer of Archer Office.
The restoration of this historic 1890s landmark has transformed the Boot Factory into a vibrant hub for community and innovation, while honoring its rich heritage. Now offering flexible workspaces, public meeting rooms, and co-working areas, the revitalised space truly reflects Bondi’s creative spirit.
ASPECT Studios led the courtyard’s design, creating inviting spaces for community connection. The design includes new seating, a stage, considered greenery, and delightful details, while preserving the site’s existing trees. This thoughtful blend of history and innovation breathes new life into an iconic part of Bondi’s heritage.
