Design Excellence Win – 845 Pacific Highway in Chatswood, NSW

In collaboration with PTW, ASPECT Studios has won a Design Excellence competition for the concept design of 845 Pacific Highway in Chatswood, NSW. This prominent 43-level mixed-use Build-to-Rent (BTR) development, located on the eastern side of Pacific Highway, will feature 418 units, alongside retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces.

The landscape design is a harmonious blend of urban center and wilderness, merging the lush vegetative character of Sydney’s North Shore’s western slopes with the vibrant urban form of Chatswood CBD.

We've introduced multiple forms of urban greening, from indoor protected landscapes to resident facilities and a central hero park, all designed to maximize interaction with nature in an urban context. The story of water's gravitational cycle is woven throughout, with recreational pools and greenery above, cascading water features, pavement patterns, and lush planting below, bringing the narrative of water to life across the site.
