We recently revisited Bowden Main Park in Adelaide and were delighted to see how it has thrived. Not only have the plants and trees matured beautifully, the community has warmly embraced the park as the bustling hub of this new neighbourhood—a place for connection and communal activities.
Utilising recycled materials such as red bricks and repurposed wooden beams alongside angular steel shelters, the park connects to its industrial heritage while creating spaces for multi-generational play and interaction, blending industrial heritage with contemporary design.
Eight years since its completion, Bowden Main Park continues to enrich public life, demonstrating the value of thoughtful urban design.
