Redfern Place

Redfern Place will knit together affordable, social, and on-market housing, community spaces, and offices on a single site.

It’s a real pleasure to be involved in a project this complex and meaningful for the Redfern community and to continue our working relationship with Bridge Housing, Capella, Hayball and to welcome architectural competition winners Silvester Fuller and Architecture AND.

Sitting adjacent to Redfern Park, one of the most-loved community spaces in the area, this development will add a horticulturally-driven space to the network of green spaces in Redfern.

Our design for the public realm and landscape have been grounded in a deep understanding of the context of the changing landscape of social and affordable housing in Waterloo and Redfern – from active street frontages to a cool internal courtyard, we’re aiming to make Redfern Place somewhere that shows generosity to both residents and the wider public.
