Working alongside Woods Bagot, Mirvac, and AECOM, ASPECT Studios created a responsive landscape design, around the Heritage Lanes precinct, tailored to Brisbane’s subtropical climate.
The exemplar workplace incorporates a lush and verdant ground plane affording a variety of experiences and connections, helping to create a new destination within the city.
The successful civic impact of Heritage Lanes goes beyond the micro scale, with a notable and significant contribution to landscape greening in an urbanised environment, due to the biophilic approach to the tower. Together, the public laneways and tower planting demonstrate how constrained city sites can maximise public use and urban greening, achieving a climatically responsive outcome, respectful of history and environment.
Congratulations to everyone who worked on the project. It's an outstanding result.
