Sydney Studio visit Surry Hills Village

The Sydney Studio recently explored Surry Hills Village in Redfern, led by Associate Scott Badham. As a key member of the project team, Scott guided the group through the precinct’s intimate laneways and courtyards, sharing insights into the design process and the evolution of this vibrant new space.

What was once an industrial and neglected area has now been transformed into a thriving neighbourhood hub. It’s exciting to see the laneways open, activated, and full of energy, reinforcing the power of thoughtful urban design in shaping dynamic public spaces.
