The Ribbon Playground - for children of all ages

The Ribbon Playground is an extension of the award-winning Darling Quarter, designed by ASPECT Studios for the NSW Government. The Playground caters to the previously unmet needs of older children, adding an exciting and adventurous destination to what has become Australia’s most-visited tourist attractions at Darling Harbour.

The design of the Playground provides drama and delight through suspended and cantilevered net "waves" that allow children to climb above the surrounding crowds.

A key goal for ASPECT is to create new connections between our cities and our young people. The Ribbon embodies this, by creating a destination for families and children on one of Australia’s most prominent sites.
