Transforming Carillion City

Carillon City’s transformation presents a unique opportunity to reimagine the heart of Perth’s CBD. As one of the largest and most important landholdings in the city, the new-look precinct will open the existing mall and create a new retail and dining destination that draws inspiration from the organic forms, colours and topography of Western Australia’s natural landscapes.

Design in collaboration with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), Hames Sharley and Fiveight, the landscape plays a key role in shaping a public realm that invites discovery and offers respite from the surrounding urban landscape. Thoughtful integration of green spaces, improved pedestrian connections, and high-quality materials will create an inviting precinct that reconnects Perth’s retail and cultural fabric.
