She has worked for more than a decade in Australia and internationally in private and public sector roles, with a background spanning master planning, playspace design, residential and commercial developments as well as strategic documents and project management.
Heather uses her passion for community-led and user-focused design to produce high-quality design solutions that result in engaging and evolving open spaces. She enjoys collaborating in a multi-disciplinary environment and easily pivots and adapts to varying project typologies and scales, responding sensitively to a range of contexts.
She aims to create thoughtful and holistic design responses which enhance the built environment, bolster sustainability in the natural landscape and reveal the historical and cultural narratives that define them.
Heather is particularly passionate about working on projects which authentically engage in a co-design process with local Indigenous communities, and curating planting schemes which are both beautiful and provide rich habitat and ecological value.
